Fundraising

Like most things in life, running a band costs money, particularly as we are lucky enough to have our own premises.  The Oxted Band is financed by a combination of payments to play at events, subscriptions from members of the band and from kind donations from friends and members of the public.

Here are two ways in which you could help us:

Easyfundraising

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be collecting free donations for Oxted Band?

There are over 3,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.

3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!

There are no catches or hidden charges and Oxted Band will be really grateful for your donations.

The Tandridge Together Lottery

Tandridge Together Lottery is a weekly online lottery, with a chance to win £25,000 and will support good causes and local voluntary groups with fundraising.

Lottery tickets costing £1 per week are available at https://www.tandridgelottery.co.uk/support/the-oxted-band. 50p of the £1 ticket price goes directly to the Oxted Band, with 10p in every pound going into a fund for the Council to distribute in the form of small grants, to a wide range of good cause projects who apply for support in the Tandridge district.

The rest of the money goes towards prizes and administration costs. There is no cost to the charities, projects and groups who sign up.

Thank you for your support.
