At our spring concert in St. John’s church the band played a varied programme which included Music for a Festival, Blueberry Hill, Epic Themes from John Williams and Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral. Kevin Adams played the beautiful cornet sol Pie Jesu and our four trombones featured in When I Survey.
SCABA Spring Contest 2023
The band entered the contest along with 8 other bands from varying sections. We played the march Montreal Citadel, followed by Peter Graham’s Dimensions. We were very pleased with our overall performance and Kevin Adams, Principal Cornet, was awarded the Outstanding Cornet Player Certificate by adjudicator Alan Duguid.
