Stars of Brass 2022 – Zoe Lovatt Cooper – Saturday 23rd April

We are absolutely delighted, two years after originally planned, to have the visit of Zoe Lovatt-Cooper for our Stars of Brass concert on Saturday 23rd April  at St John’s Church, Hurst Green, Surrey RH8 9EA at 7.30pm.

Zoe is probably best known in Brass Band circles for being the Flugel Horn player with the world-famous Black Dyke band for a number of years. Zoe studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and after completing her first year she was awarded the Harry Mortimer Memorial Trust, Brass Student of the Year. She has also won both Best Soloist at the British Open and Best Instrumentalist at the National Championships of Great Britain, and we are delighted to feature another soloist of such calibre with our band. Zoe will be bringing a variety of solo work to us, and we’re sure we are in for a fantastic night.

In addition, Zoe will be holding a workshop with our middle brass sections before the concert and we will also feature these players in our concert.

We look forward to seeing you then.
